Import a tenant's policies as a baseline

Where: Secure → Conditional Access → Templates → Create New → Import from tenant.
You need: Manage permission on Secure, and a healthy Microsoft 365 integration on the tenant you import from.

BETA. Import from tenant is enabled per organisation together with template requirements, and the option appears once it is on. To join the beta, email support@augmentt.com.

Import reads the Conditional Access policies in one customer tenant, turns each one you select into a template, and groups those templates into a new baseline. One well-configured tenant becomes a standard you can deploy to every other tenant in a few clicks.

Before you import

  • You choose what comes across. Each policy you tick becomes its own template, so select the policies that define your standard.
  • Template names come from the policy names. Name the policies the way you want them to read across every tenant.
  • Groups and named locations travel with the policies. Any group or location a policy references becomes a requirement on its template, matched by name in each target tenant. A tenant-neutral name such as "Break-glass accounts" carries over cleanly; a tenant-specific one can be renamed on the template after import.
