Intune App Management

The Augmentt Intune module extends beyond device policies into application management. From Secure > Intune > App Management you can deploy applications, protect corporate data inside those applications, and push per-app configuration, using the same template-and-baseline model used elsewhere in Secure.

App Management has three areas:

• Apps — the applications published to the tenant, and deployment of new ones

• Protection — App Protection policies (Intune MAM), which control what an application can do with corporate data

• Configuration — App Configuration policies, which pre-set an application's own settings

Each area has a list view for what is deployed in the selected tenant, and a Templates view for your reusable library.

Access. You need the Manage permission on Intune to deploy apps or policies, or to create templates. Read-only users can view the lists.

Prerequisite. The customer tenant must have an active Microsoft 365 integration with Intune licensing. App Protection policies additionally require the targeted users to be licensed for Intune.
